Luciferin

D-luciferin is used for in-vivo and in-vitro studies of firefly luciferase and high quality luciferin is a vital component of BioThemas kits. BioThema now offers both D-luciferin free acid, D-Luciferin Potassium salt (D-Luciferin-K) and Sodium salt (D-Luciferin-Na) in addition to L-luciferin. Since 2011 BioThema has had it´s own production of luciferin. The synthesis includes a special purification method as one of the last steps in the procedure. This removes side-products from earlier steps resulting in a purity of typically more than 99.5% and top scoring biochemical activity according to a comparison of luciferin from eight different manufactors. You will not find luciferin with a higher activity on the market. Now avaliable at an even more competitive price.
