The reagent contains ATP and Luciferase activators to obtain a stable light (less than 2% decay per minute).

Cell Lysing Reagent is intended for the extraction of ATP from mammalian cells. It contains a milder detergent than Extractant B/S and will not affect bacterial cells. If Cell Lysing Reagent is reconstituted in 71-101 ATP Eliminating Reagent extracellular ATP will be eliminated as well, for cases when only bacterial ATP is of interest.

Diluent B is a reconstitution buffer for 12-101 ATP Reagent HS when Extractant B/S has been used. Diluent B neutralizes the enzyme inhibiting component in the extractant, allowing full activity of luciferase.
Diluent B (dropper bottle) is a reconstitution buffer for 12-071 ATP Reagent HS. The reagent is intended for hygiene control and the diluent is therefore delivered in a practical dropper bottle. The dropper bottle allows personel without any training in pipetting technique to perform the assay rapidly and easily.
