For stable light assays of mithocondrial ATP metabolism down to 10-15 mole ATP
The detection limit is 10-15 mole ATP, making the reagent suitable for assays of mithocondrial ATP production rate down to the detection limit and for other continous monitoring of enzymatic reactions where the magnesium ion concentration has to be adjusted.
ATP detection down to 10-18 mole, the amount of ATP found in a single bacterial cell.
The light emission is very high, however not stable with a decay of 235% per minute. The high light decay makes it necessary to use the reagent with a dispenser equipped luminometer.
ATP Standard 1 µM is intended for the calibration of assays with 11-501 ATP Reagent SL in situations where 45-051 ATP Standard 10 µM gives to much light. ATP Standard 10 µM is intended for the calibration of assays with 11-501 ATP Reagent SL. The ATP Standard is stable in liquid form and certified by the Swedish Standards Institute.
10 nM, 6,7 mL (dropper bottle). Calibration of ATP assays with standard addition
ATP standard makes i possible to express ATP measurements in moles rather than RLU.
ATP Standard 10 nM is diluted in Extractant B/S and is used in hygiene control assays. The ATP Standard is stable in liquid form and certified by the Swedish Standards Institute.
ATP Standard 10 µM is intended for the calibration of assays with 11-501 ATP Reagent SL. The ATP Standard is stable in liquid form and certified by the Swedish Standards Institute.
ATP Standard 100 nM is intended for the calibration of assays with 12-101 ATP Reagent HS. The ATP Standard is stable in liquid form and certified by the Swedish Standards Institute.
10 mL reagent for extraction of ATP from mammalian cells.
Cell Lysing Reagent is intended for the extraction of ATP from mammalian cells. It contains a milder detergent than Extractant B/S and will not affect bacterial cells. If Cell Lysing Reagent is reconstituted in 71-101 ATP Eliminating Reagent extracellular ATP will be eliminated as well, for cases when only bacterial ATP is of interest.
Cell Viability Kit SL is intended for use with mammalian cell samples with high cell density or with cell samples with higher density of ATPases, e.g. nerve cells. The kit contains a stronger ATPase inhibitor than 155-050 Cellular ATP Kit HTS and produces stable light.
A mammalian cell contains approx. 1 femtomole ATP. 188-441 Cell Viablity Kit SL is useful for quantification of ATP in the range 10^-11– 10^-7 mole/L. This kit can be used for determination of ATP levels in e.g. animal or bacterial cells in a variety of circumstances:
Estimation of cell numbers
Cell proliferation studies
Cytotoxicity studies
