Luciferin Substrate

Applications

Luciferin Substrate is used with ATP Substrate and is intended for in vitro studies of firefly luciferase. The reagent contains D-Luciferin and Luciferase activators and stabilisers to obtain a stable light (less than 2% decay per minute).

Delivery form:
Lyophilised reagent in a glass vial, sealed under argon

Reconstitution:
100 tests: In 10 mL Tris-EDTA buffer.
200 tests: In 20 mL Tris-EDTA buffer.

Number of assays:
100 tests: Up to 100 analyses in a 96 well microplate format. Remember to allow a certain volume for priming
200 tests: Up to 200 analyses in a 96 well microplate format. Remember to allow a certain volume for priming.

Storage:
At -18 °C or lower.

Shelf life:
2 years from date of delivery at -18 °C. Reconstituted reagent should be used within a week.
